will ensure you have a memorable day. The Belle Vue Royal
Hotel is a three star establishment with 34 bedrooms, some
with sea views.
At the Belle Vue Royal Hotel we pride ourselves on the
quality of our friendly efficient service which provides
a truly enjoyable experience. From the red carpet welcome
you receive to the final dance of the evening, every detail
is tailored to make your day perfect. Once you have booked
your reception, we also invite you to come and sample your
chosen menu in our restaurant.
Our function rooms cater for all your needs, complete
with table linen and napkins to match your chosen colour
scheme. We can provide menus, seating plans and flowers
to add the finishing touches to your special day. You are
given the red carpet treatment from the moment you arrive.
We provide a bedroom for the Bride and Groom on the wedding
night and special accommodation rates for your guests so
they can enjoy a pleasant overnight stay without having
to worry about travelling.
You can relax in the knowledge that our dedicated and
experienced staff will provide help and advise throughout
every stage of planning your wedding. We will be delighted
to show you the excellent facilities that the Belle Vue
Royal Hotel has to offer to make your wedding day everything
you could wish for.
Something a little different?
Themed weddings are fast becoming very
popular and these options give you the freedom to create
a truly unique day. The important thing to remember is
that is your day and, although you will find a wide selection
of popular menus for both the wedding breakfast and evening
buffet in this brochure, if you have any ideas of your
own we will be happy to discuss those with you.
Maybe you would prefer a buffet for this wedding breakfast
rather than a sit down meal? Or you are having a late ceremony
and only require an evening party? What about putting disposable
cameras on the tables so your guests can capture those
special moments? Have you thought of arranging extra entertainment
for the children or even someone to look after them? After
all, it’s those little touches that make the day
one to remember.
Looking after your guests
If you are having both your wedding breakfast and the
evening reception at the hotel, we may need some time after
the main meal to prepare the reception room for the evening.
Some of your guests may wish to go home to change or take
the time to freshen up if they are staying at the hotel.
Others are welcome to settle themselves in the hotel bar
until the evening reception starts. Otherwise, we can provide
a private room where we are happy to provide teas and coffees
if you prefer.
Civil ceremonies
The hotel has three rooms licensed for civil marriages, civil partnerships and renewal of vow ceremonies. Whether you are blessing your existing marriage or celebrating for the first time in front of family and friends, all your celebrations can take place under one roof.
Our rooms accommodate two to one hundred people comfortably and we can decorate rooms with bows on chairs, flower displays or balloon archways. If you are in the area, or plan to visit, please let us know and we can show you round all of our facilities.

The Evening Reception
We will be delighted to host your evening reception at the
hotel too. If you have also held your day reception here, we will need a short
time to prepare the room for the evening. During this time guests may wish
to return home or to their rooms to freshen up. Some retire to the bar or we
can provide a private room where we can supply teas and coffees if desired
or even a TV and video to watch videos from the day or to keep children amused.
If you are having a buffet in the evening, there will be no additional charge
for the hire of the room, simply the cost of the buffet. Some buffet menus
are shown below.
The menus shown in this brochure are samples of what we can
provide. Buffet menus may be altered to suit your requirements or budget.
If you require entertainment, our disco costs £180.00
for the night – otherwise you may organise your own disco or other entertainment.
The maximum capacity for the room largely depends on the entertainment required – we
will be happy to discuss this further with you.
The function bar in the Ocean Room can be available in the
evening at no additional charge for weddings of 70 people or more.
